Kim Greene Hughes, Esq. is the owner of K.G. Hughes & Associates, LLC, bringing over 25 years of expertise in Real Estate Closings (Commercial and Residential), Wills and Trusts, and Business Law. Her extensive experience includes prior roles in small to medium-sized law firms, where she served as an associate, managing attorney, and eventually partner, before founding her own firm nearly 19 years ago. Kim built her practice on a foundation of professional expertise, exceptional service, integrity, and a strong commitment to her community—principles she continues to uphold today.

Kim actively serves on the boards of Focused Community Strategies, the Empire Board of Realtists, and the Women’s Entrepreneurial Opportunity Project. Her involvement reflects her dedication to expanding affordable housing, promoting sustainable homeownership, and empowering women business owners. Most recently, she was appointed as a Special Assistant to the Attorney General for Georgia DCA’s Low Income Housing Tax Credit commercial projects.

A member of the Real Property Law and Business Law sections, Kim is also a state-registered mediator for General Civil and Business/Corporate matters. Demonstrating her commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and homeowners, she leads workshops that offer business fundamentals, inspiration, and practical strategies based on her own professional journey. Kim also conducts seminars to educate homeowners on the closing process, ensuring an elevated and seamless experience.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Juris Doctorate from The American University Washington College of Law in
Washington, D.C..
